Kisima Ngeda Camp

Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp is a small safari camp located on the edge of Lake Eyasi in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. As the soda lake is seasonal, during the drier months there may be little water, but the bonus of this is that the soda attracts a wide variety of birdlife.  

The area is home to the Wahadzabe tribe, a group of nomadic bushmen who speak in the unusual click-language. These hunter-gatherers add a fascinating cultural aspect to the region and guests will have the chance to interact with them and learn more about their ancient traditions.

Rooms

There are seven tents here, situated on wooden platforms and with thatched roofs. They are proper walk-in tents, with en suite bathrooms with showers, and whilst simple in their design, they are perfectly comfortable.

Recreation

You could simply come here to relax in a very quiet, remote and beautiful setting! However, you can also do some good hiking around here, possibly meet some of the Hadzabe tribes of hunter-gatherers, go mountain biking, and also visit some of the local Datoga people too. There is a restaurant, bar, and a lovely swimming pool.
